Human hair collected directly from a hair donor. It is sometimes referred to as cuticle hair. Remy hair means the layers are aligned in the same direction. The hair is stronger and last much longer if properly maintained.

Bleach knots is the process of lightening the knots usually around the perimeter of the hairline created when the unit is being ventilating.

How long does it take for delivery?
In stock lace wigs ship with 24-48 hours upon confirmation receipt. Custom units take approximately 21-30 days for delivery.
Lace wigs by Le Sha' confidentially accepts medical claims and requests for cancer and hair loss patient applications. If your insurance company covers a portion of your wig and/or application, you may qualify for a discount of 80-100% of your cost. Depending on the nature of your hair loss condition, you may be able to replace your unit quarterly within the claim. Please consult your insurance company for details on what they will allow you to claim and the procedure for doing so. You will be required to provide proof from your physician for the prescription for a hair replacement solution.
When filing a claim for your hair replacement system, you will need to refer to your lace wig unit as a cranial prosthesis. Please keep this terminology in mind when asking the doctor to write out your prescription as well as in filing your claim to the insurance company. Simply using the term "wig" may not get approved. We can conveniently pre-bill your unit and application for the purpose of your prescription and claim.
